What is an AI credit?
One AI credit is one completed AI-moderated interview (two with the real-time voice engine) or one AI test run, where an AI persona tests your design or website. Insights, the assistant, and AI personas don't use credits; they come with any plan that includes them.
What counts as a survey response?
A completed response to a survey, meaning a study with no AI questions. Survey responses have their own monthly allowance and never use AI credits, so you can run classic surveys on every plan, including Free.
How does the free plan work?
Free is built for surveys: 100 responses a month, up to 20 questions per survey, one seat, and MCP access so you can build and analyze surveys from your AI tools. No credit card required. Upgrade to Pro for AI-moderated interviews, insights, the assistant, AI tests, and personas.
How does the free trial work?
Pro comes with a 14-day free trial at full Pro limits. Add a payment method to start. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then to return to the free plan. One trial per workspace.
What happens when I use up my credits or responses?
Your studies pause at the limit and your data stays accessible. Top up credits from your billing page, valid until your plan renews, or upgrade for a bigger allowance.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits and survey responses reset at the start of each billing cycle. Monthly plans reset every month; annual plans give you the full year up front and reset annually.
Can I invite my team and manage permissions?
Yes. Each plan includes a number of seats, and admins can set permissions at the organization and project level. Free includes one seat.
Are there limits to how many projects I can create?
No. Create as many projects as you like. You only use credits or responses when participants complete them.
Can I recruit participants from your panel?
Yes. We've partnered with Respondent to give you access to millions of participants. Create a screener, set the incentive, and pay participants directly from Versive. Recruiting is billed separately as you go and isn't covered by credits.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. If you cancel a paid plan, your workspace moves to the free plan and your surveys keep running within its limits.
How do you keep my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we are SOC 2 Type 2 certified. We don't train AI models on your data.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing saves over 30% compared to monthly. You pay for the full year up front at the discounted rate; monthly gives you more flexibility at a higher per-month price.
